Vision Statement
We, the Christ Church community, invite, welcome,
accept, and give voice to all who come to worship and serve our Lord Jesus Christ. We are here to provide a safe place, a sanctuary,
for each to grow in his or her relationship with God and each other. Strengthened by this fellowship, we are called to love and help our neighbors, wherever they are, who are in need of spiritual and physical care. In all things, we bear witness to the faith, love, justice and forgiveness of Christ whose name we bear.

A Covenant To Keep You and I
I was born in Evansville over 50 years ago. I was a dream of dedicated Christians who wanted to start a new church on the East Side. I must be reborn continually if I am to survive and serve.
I am a lot like you: I laugh, I cry, I work, I play, I rejoice, I despair, I hurt, I heal, I succeed, I fail, I worry, I worship, I wonder, I pray.
I seek love, respect, support and approval. I search for meaningful work. I strive to make a contribution to the community and the world. I have needs, expectations, hopes and dreams.
Yes I am a lot like each of you for what you are and do, I shall become. I am dependent on you for my spiritual, emotional, physical and financial well-being.
I reach out to you with love and concern. I offer you opportunity and service, joy and peace through the love of Jesus Christ.
